Chico AquaJets Coaching Staff

The Chico AquaJet staff consists of qualified individuals who are experienced in the education, instruction, and training of age group swimmers. All coaches are certified in CPR, first aid and water safety. The head coach, Betsy Aird, is responsible for assisting in the selection of all assistant staff members. She directs the swimming activities of the team, and she, as well as her assistants, play a vital role in all swim functions, fundraisers, and team social activities (pizza nights, barbecues, etc.). Swimmers or parents who desire information or have swimming questions concerning practice, techniques, and swim meets should discuss such matters with a member of the staff before or after workouts or call the head coach at 345-SWIM.

Chico AquaJets Board of Directors and Administration

The Chico Area Swimming Association (CASA) Board of Directors is comprised of a minimum of 11 parent members. They direct the administrative, financial and policy making activities of the AquaJets. These parent volunteers are elected to a 3-year term. The Board of Directors meet once each month and all team parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Note that meeting location may very.
