Chico AquaJets and Masters Win at Lake Swim

The Chco AquaJets and Chico Masters Swim Teams competed at the Whiskeytown Open Water Lake Swim this past weekend. Competing in the One Mile Race Christine Lockhart, 50, and Connor Hughes, 11, finshed first in their age groups. Competing in the Two Mile event Debra Roth, 56, and Teddy Crete, 13, finished first. Competing in the 500 yard swim, Reilly Ehrlich, 10, finished first.

Also competing in the One Mile race Debra Roth, 56; James Gilbert, 41; and Matt Thompson, 24; finished second. Camille Panighetti, 58; Mary Johnson, 41; Wendy Asnault, 39, finished third. Cydni Aird, 12, finished 4^th; Walter Marshal, 55, and Paige Treff, 11, finished 5^th; David Watkins, 11 finished 6^th; Cecilia Cummins, 49, finished 7^th and Deena Crete, 52, finished 12^th.. Competing in the Two Mile race Christine Lockhart, 50, and Wendy Asnault, 39, finished third; Edward Ordorica, 58, and James Gilbert, 44, finished 6^th. Competing in the 500 yd swim Grayson Aird, 9, finished 5^th and Daine Treff, 9, finished 14^th.

High School swimmers swimming unattached at the race were Allison West, 16, was the overall race winner in the Two Mile race. Meghan Johnson, 14, finished second in the One Mile race, and Victoria Williamson, 17, and Brigid Ehrlich, 13, finished third in the One Mile race.
